Searching for solutions

Articolul în limba română: În cãutare de soluţii

The annual general assembly meeting of APMR was once again a moment dedicated to analysis and plans . Activity reports, balance sheet, current projects of the Association’s operative staff, and certainly the most important thing, the proposals and conclusions of the members, whose representatives were present at the meeting in a moderate number, offering us a few very interesting moments of reflection.
It seems important to me, that people discuss and maybe more than ever, they are more willing to co-operate: among them and with the Association. On the other hand, new ideas and demands addressed to their representative organization it’s a good thing: the companies are looking for solutions and we can be also part of these solutions.
Naturally, the solutions are not universal and all the steps made after the meeting have proved this thing to us. I came to the same conclusion in May on the occasion of the new Rus Savitar furniture store opening in Bucharest, where I had been invited, and about which you can read in the present edition of the Mobila magazine, and furthermore each and every time on the occasion of the periodical analysis of the many project proposals submitted by private-owned companies to the Ministry of Economy with the aim to access structural funds. I have been very happy to notice that among the proposals aiming to company development the number of those coming from the part of the furniture industry is increasing, and recently I have had the satisfaction that some belonging to member companies of APMR were approved. All these projects have at least two similar characteristics, they are better and better prepared and they aim to increase the company economic competitiveness. Diversifying the offer and foreseeing the next trends of demand, increasing the capacity and implementing quality management systems, are some of the reasons why the management of the companies decided to make steps towards projects. Although, most of the time the work behind such a project it’s not easy, the possibility to increase the chances to come out earlier from the stagnation is encouraging more and more managers to search the solution here, too.
However, we consider it as a reason for optimism, mostly because all these project proposals presented or approved for financing, are not necessary belonging in the same geographic area.
These are ideas coming from all parts of the country: from Famos of Odorheiu Secuiesc, from Taparo of Satu Mare, from Sigstrat and Plimob of Sighetu Marmaţiei, Robobi Invest of Zarnesti and Z-Zone Term of Râsnov, Brasov or Spumotim of Timisoara etc. For an economy wildly coping with uncertainties, these and other aspects are the clear evidence that solutions are in us mostly and encourage us to go on. We need optimism and a proper approach.
