An initiative with chance of success

The “Furniture Fair” was held in Alba Iulia, at the Alba Mall in the period 11th to 13th of June 2010, organized by the Alba County Council, Department of development, strategies and programs. At the event participated 43 companies specialized in furniture manufacturing, components and accessories, textile, handicraft, furnishing, interior decorations. APMR was present at the fair with its speciality magazine “Mobila”, the Information Bulletin nr.5/2010, and two catalogues: the APMR member catalogue and the Catalogue of the exporters. The workshop: “The Romanian furniture market today”, where all the participating companies were invited took place in the first day of the fair. During the fair 3 events attracted the attention of the visitors and exhibitors: the competition for the visitors; an auction for a dining room furniture set, offered by the company Tipo Rex; and the exhibitors awarding festivity.
The exhibitors, organizers and the visitors expressed their belief that the first edition of the Furniture Fair was a success.
